Winter 2001 Issue

“Miniatures” is the main feature for the Winter issue. Over seventy miniature creations decorate the pages of this feature presentation.

Theodore B. Bear Says, “It is never too late for a Valentine.” This is a fun and informative look at vintage and antique valentines featuring Teddy Bears and their wild counterpart - the Bear.

Artists profiled in this issue include: Judith Schnog and Gerta Van’t Veer of the “Ours” team from Holland, Kimberlee Port from Washington state, Karen Apps from England, Janet Desjardine from Canada, and Beth Diane Hogan from California.

Long-time Tampa Teddy Bear and gift store, J & L Collectibles is profiled in this issue.

“The Bear Appreciation Price Guide” includes: a “Trudi” Teddy Bear from Italy, a mechanical Teddy, a “Canterbury” Teddy Bear, a “Dean’s” Teddy Bear, a Teddy made by artist “Cindy Martin,” and a “Kamar” Teddy Bear from the 1970s.
